Duty Officer

The City of Coffs Harbour offers a Duty Officer (Planning and Building) service for general advice on the planning and building process:

• Over the phone by calling 02) 6648 4000: 8:30am –1:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
• In person at our Customer Service Centre: 9:00am – 1:00pm Tuesdays and Thursdays 

Enquiries can also be made for the following by completing the form and paying the nominated fee:

• Complex Planning Enquiries

  Note: complex planning enquiries include advice on historical planning instrument changes (i.e. zoning changes) and advice on approval processes for development/land uses involving extensive research.

• Copies of Building Plans, Approvals and Development Consents
• Flood Level Information
• Permissibility of Dwelling Enquiries (Dwelling Entitlement),
• Requesting a pre-lodgement meeting (Development Application / LEP Amendment Application),
• Requesting a Planning Certificate
