Woolgoolga Town Centre Masterplan

The Woolgoolga Town Centre Masterplan presents a vision and strategic planning framework to guide growth and change in Woolgoolga's town centre for the next 20 years to 2036.

Council at its Ordinary Meeting of 22 February 2018 resolved to adopt the Woolgoolga Town Centre Masterplan.

This Masterplan is critical in guiding the orderly development and revitalisation of the Woolgoolga town centre. The plan presents a vision and strategic planning framework to guide growth and change in Woolgoolga's town centre for the next 20 years to 2036.

The Plan consists of three documents:

PART A - Town Centre Framework   

This document introduces the masterplanning process, describes the context, opportunities and vision and presents a strategic framework for the whole Town Centre Area targeting a 20 year planning horizon.

PART B - Town Centre Precincts & Implementation Plan

This document identifies the role, character and future opportunities of key places within the Town Centre and presents an implementation plan to achieve Town Centre Masterplan initiatives.

PART C - Supporting Information

 This document is an addendum comprising supporting documents, and includes:

  • Informing strategies and studies
  • Summary of Informing State and Local Government policies
  • Traffic and Parking Study, and
  • Record of community consultation.
