Why invest?
Coffs Harbour's great climate and strategic position between two major capital cities on Australia's east coast have seen the City grow into an important regional hub for business and government.
The City of Coffs Harbour is committed to helping grow sustainable industries and businesses throughout the local government area. The region's strong economic and population growth, along with our forward thinking approach to strategic planning and environmental management, make it one of the fastest growing and most dynamic areas within NSW.
A new vision for Coffs Harbour
The Coffs Harbour Regional City Action Plan (RCAP) has been developed by the NSW Government, in collaboration with City of Coffs Harbour, to help Coffs Harbour fulfil its potential as a thriving regional centre.
Coffs Harbour city’s population has been experiencing high growth in recent years. The RCAP will provide the structure to manage and shape the city’s growth over the next 20 years, making it an even more attractive place for tree changers and city dwellers wanting a lifestyle change while retaining the benefits of city living.
City of Coffs Harbour has ensured that the city has everything that it needs to grow and be sustainable - such as a state of the art Regional Water Supply Scheme, Water Filtration Plant, High-tech Waste Management System, National Broadband Network, university level education, regional airport and a strong health care sector.
We invite you or a representative of your organisation to meet with Council to discuss the plan and possible investment opportunities by contacting the team on on 02) 6648 4835 or email.
