The program assists not-for-profit organisations who are based in The City of Coffs Harbour local government area or that service clients within this area. Organisations can apply for up to $5,000 for donations toward activities or services that can demonstrate a direct benefit to the wider community. Eligible projects that could be eligible for funding may include community events such as cultural festivals, sporting events, presentations and donations towards rates for community organisations leasing City properties.
Objectives of the Community Donations Program are for City of Coffs Harbour to:
• Assist in the provision of innovative community projects that target community needs and result in direct benefits to the wider community
• Assist in increasing the participation, accessibility and range of community organisations for the residents of the Coffs Harbour local government area.
Grants projects should enhance the economic, social and environmental well-being of the local community.
