Diggers is a great beach for swimming, surfing, fishing and birdwatching, it is patrolled by Lifeguards during the Christmas, Easter and September school holidays (see details under 'Hours' on this page).

Patrolled 7-days a week during some school holidays:
9:00 am - 4:00 pm from first Monday of September school holidays until last Friday in October of school holiday
9:00 am - 5:00 pm from first Monday of December school holidays until last Friday in January of school holiday
9:00 am - 4:00 pm from first Monday of April school holidays until last Friday of April school holiday
