Studies and Plans

City of Coffs Harbour completed the Coffs Harbour Northern LGA Flood Study in 2023. The study provides detailed flood information for the following catchments;

  • Corindi River
  • Arrawarra Creek
  • Darkum Creek
  • Willis Creek
  • Double Crossing Creek (Hearnes Lake)
  • Fiddamans Creek

The Flood Study is the first stage of the floodplain management process. It provides detailed flood mapping so that we will have an even better understanding of potential flood risks within these catchments to assist with future development, planning, and community education.
