Did you know some local plants are both edible and delicious? In this workshop you will learn how to identify local weeds that you can eat. We will also discuss some basic culinary preparations for local weeds.

Location: Meet under Fig Tree, Riding Lane, Yarrila Place

Fee: $15 per person, bookings required.


About the Facilitator

Karla Gillies is a dedicated environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience in food and wildlife gardening, conservation, and community action. Karla has spent her life nurturing the environment and inspiring others to do the same. Her expertise ranges from creating thriving gardens that support local wildlife to leading conservation projects that protect precious ecosystems.
