Born and raised in Coffs Harbour, Cr Gurminder Saro graduated from John Paul College in 2008. Cr Saro has captained local sporting sides in Cricket, Soccer, Rugby League and Touch Football. Cr Saro graduated from Griffith University with Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Economics and also has a Masters Degree in Wealth Advice, being a fully qualified wealth advisor. After a decade in the Brisbane corporate world, Cr Saro moved back to Coffs in 2020. He now runs a local Real Estate Business, sits on the board of First Nation Economics and the Woolgoolga/Coffs Harbour Sikh Sports club. Cr Saro and his wife live in Woolgoolga, where they plan to grow their family.
