An all-ages celebration under the stars at the all-new Brelsford Park will enchant at the Coffs Harbour Carols on Saturday 21 December.

The event will feature a stellar line-up of entertainment and an opportunity to ‘taste the world’ with an eclectic line-up of food providers.

There’ll be Santa, of course, plus a powershow of fireworks to climax the festivities from about 8.30pm.

“Get your party hats on for what is always an uplifting community event,” City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams said.

“This will be a relaxed and joyful celebration, especially for young families.”

The gala will be extra special in 2024 as it’s set in the beautifully revamped Brelsford Park, where enhancements included a grand gateway entrance, easy access pathways and extensive lighting.

The event will kick off at 6.30pm and the all-star cast of entertainment belting out Christmas numbers includes Zahra Cowley, Adelaide Robinson, Jess Wyborn, Mal Winckle, JRDS dance group, Jen Aarts, Louise Richards, Imogen Daymond, and a special feature artist.

“To maximise your comfort pack a picnic blanket, comfortable shoes and a jacket or poncho as it’s Coffs Harbour and the weather can change at the flip of a coin,” City Planning and Communities Acting Director Ian Fitzgibbon said.

“For the safety and enjoyment of everyone we ask that people do not take glass, laser pointers, drones, whistles or horns to the park. We also ask that people leave pets (with the exception of certified service animals), scooters, skateboards and the like at home.

“Please be mindful this is an alcohol-free family-friendly gig.”

One of the best parts of carols night will be a leave pass from having to cook dinner as there will be a posse of diverse food vendors: Leonella Pasta, Lukeys Loaded Potatoes, Sweet Sunny Blends Acai bowl, Mike’s Treats, Moreish Pizza, Rigs and Gigs Mexican, Schnitz on a roll and Spiral Sista (there are no ATMs at the venue so people should bring cash and/or EFTPOS card).

As well as all things singing and dancing there’ll be a host of children’s activities including face painting by Smiley Squad, glow sticks by the Coffs Harbour Girl Guides and the Big Banana giveaway tent.

The 2024 Coffs Harbour Carols is brought to you by the City of Coffs Harbour with the key support of platinum partners C.ex Group and Park Beach Plaza; gold partners The Big Banana, Southern Cross Austereo and Geoff King Motors; and silver partners Brown and Hurley, Pacific Bay Resort, Paradox Media and The Edge.
