It’s all systems go for regional holiday hotspot Coffs Harbour which has all bases loaded for a home run across the April school holidays and Easter break.

“Coffs has always been a popular getaway but our tourism offering has morphed and matured – and we’re now being rediscovered,” City of Coffs Harbour Mayor Nikki Williams said.

“Our premier ECO Destination billing and a thirst by discerning travellers chasing experiences has the Coffs Coast primed to build on its momentum as a leading location in the competitive regional travel sector.”

The district is also benefitting from a steady increase in air services.

Link Airways now provides return direct flights between Coffs and Canberra three days a week; and has upped the ante to six days a week to Brisbane where demand for Coffs flights is surging.

The traditional Sydney connections have also boomed, with five return flights per day, headlined by the large capacity Qantas Boeing 737s (three per day).

The Eastern Seaboard trifecta for Coffs Harbour is the new daily return flight to and from Melbourne on the signature Qantaslink Airbus 220.

“We are a place of plenty on the North Coast and we have a rich and diverse menu of offerings as we head into the Autumn holidays,” City Acting General Manager Andrew Beswick said.

“The list of events will have wide appeal and provide the cherry on the top of our mainstay year-round jewels of a pristine coastline and spectacular lush hinterland. And let’s not forget we have the best beach on the Australian Mainland at Woolgoolga and nationally acclaimed holiday parks.”
