The Moonee Forest Cycleway is now complete, providing a safe and pleasant route for cyclists and pedestrians.
The 2.5-metre wide shared footpath cycleway extends a distance of just over 1km to link Sullivans Road, Moonee Beach with Dianella Street, in North Sapphire Beach.
Pedestrians and cyclists cross two significant new bridges along the route. Safety fencing and handrails are provided at strategic locations.
The Project aligns with the vision and aims of the City of Coffs Harbour’s Movement and Place Strategy - Draft.
The Project is jointly funded by the Australian Government and through Developer Contributions set out in Moonee Release Area Developer Contributions Plan 2017(PDF, 2MB)
