Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan 2013 - Planning Proposal PP-2022-4331

Council at its Meeting of 9 May 2024, resolved to initiate an amendment to Coffs Harbour Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2013 to reduce minimum lot size at Lot 411 DP 1276302, No. 198 Ayrshire Park Drive, Boambee.

The objective and intended outcomes of the proposed LEP amendment are to enable amendment of the Lot Size Map from 1 hectare to 4,500m2 for Lot 411 DP 1276302, 198 Ayrshire Park Drive, Boambee. The amendment will provide the ability for a development application to be made for subdivision of the site to create a single additional lot.

On the 14 June 2024, the Minister for Planning and Public Spaces, determined pursuant to Section 3.34(2) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 that the proposed LEP amendment could proceed and authorised Council to exercise its delegation to make the Plan.

In accordance with the Minister’s determination and Council’s resolution, the proposed LEP amendment is now publicly available for community consultation.

The exhibition period is from Friday, 5 July 2024 to close of business on Thursday 15 August 2024.
